Besan Ladoo

Amazing Indian sweet, that just melts in your mouth 🙂

Quantity: 16-18 pieces   Preparation time: 10 minutes   Cooking time: 90 minutes


400ml of besan flour

50ml of ghee

200ml of powdered sugar

200-300ml of coarsed almonds, cashews, walnuts


  • In a heavy bottom pan, melt the ghee


  • Add the besan flour, and constantly stir till the flour’s color changes and you get nice fragrance


  • Once the color changes, transfer it to another bowl/plate and leave it to sit till it cools down


  • After its cool down, add the powdered sugar and coarsed dried fruits to the besan flour and mix well. It will be like crumbles as shown n below picture


  • Make into small balls, and keep rolling till you get the shiny coat over as shown below
