Broccoli soup

Quantity: 2 cups   Preparation Time: 15 minutes   Cooking time: 30 minutes


150gms of broccoli florets

6 cloves of garlic

4 inch of ginger piece

salt & pepper to taste

1 tbsp butter/oil


  • Peal and chop garlic, ginger and onion
  • In a pan add butter/oil, saute ginger and garlic for a minute, and then a onion


  • Saute for coupleof minutes till onion becomes soft, then add broccoli florets. Saute for a few seconds


  • Add 2 cups of water, and boil it for 8-10 minutes


  • Let it cool down, and puree them in a blender/mixer
  • Transfer it to the pan, ad salt and pepper to taste. Bring it to boil, then transfer it to your serving bowl



  • You can avoid garlic and ginger if not needed. In that case, instead of sauteing boil the broccoli directly, puree and boil it again with salt and pepper
