Multi-Grain Digestive Biscuits

Nutritious snack for anytime of day or when ever u feel like have something for your hunger. Trust me couple of cookies will make you full for some time definitely.

Quantity: 8 cookies     Preparation time: 15 mins     Cooking time: 40 mins


125ml whole wheat flour

125ml powdered oats flour

100ml ragi flour

100gms salted butter (in room temperature)

50gms of brown sugar

1tsp of baking powder

1-2 tbsp of milk (in room temperature)


  • Pre heat the oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes
  • Bring the butter to room temperature and make them as crumbles with brown sugar
  • Powder the oats, add it to crumbled butter & sugar along with whole wheat flour, ragi flour and baking powder
  • Add 1 tbsp at a time of milk to make sure all gets combined together and make it as a dough
  • Wrap the dough in clean plastic and freeze it for 15 minutes
  • Remove the dough from freezer, and make them into small balls and arrange the biscuits in the baking tray by leaving enough space as they tend to double in size while baking (I used parchment paper, u can either use parchment paper or slightly butter the baking tray)


  • Make sure all the biscuits are of same size and same thickness as shown below. You can use cookie cutter or anything from your kitchen to cut them into same size


  • Keep it in the oven and bake it at 180 degrees for 20 minutes
