Chilli Garlic Mushroom

Mushroom is my favourite and always wanted to try some new recipes with that and ended up with this recipe. We tried having it with Roti, was delicious, but super spicy 😉 Until I tried never know it is such an easy dish which can be made in no time 🙂

Quantity: Serves 2    Preparation Time: 15 minutes  Cooking Time: 15 minutes


1 pack of Mushrooms washed and chopped into 3-4 pieces/mushroom

6 red chillies (you can 2-3 more if you want it more spicier)

7-8 garlic cloves

Half lemon juice

Half roughly chopped tomato

2 Tsp oil

1 Tsp of fennel seeds, cumin seeds

1 cardamon

2 cloves

2 tbsp of finely chopped coriander leaves


  • Grind red chillies, garlic, tomato, half lemon juice together into smooth paste
  • Chop the mushrooms


  • In a Kadai, add oil, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, cardamon, cloves and wait until it splutter


  • Add grounded paste and saute until oil is released from the paste


  • Add the salt and chopped mushrooms in the kadai and saute until water is released from the mushroom and dried
  • Turn off the stove, add chopped coriander and mix well
